SEO can be daunting and confusing, but it's how potential customers will find your business and it is FREE! My advise: Suck it up and get to work! I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but it is a necessary evil.
Register your business with Google
This is a pretty quick and easy way to boost your SEO just by making sure your business is registered with Google. If you have a physical location, that is even better! How do you do it? Simple, go to Google My Business and create a profile. They will usually have to send you a code via snail mail to verify that you are a real person, but that is it! You are done!
Blog!
I know some of you may be groaning, but it is true, blogging is amazing for your SEO. Do you think I blog just because it is fun for me? No way! I am crazy busy, but I love sharing my knowledge and it is amazing for our SEO.
You blogs do not have to be epic novels. Keep them short and simple because that is what your clients want, a quick read!
Make your photos searchable
For years I didn’t know that this mattered, but this is another way that you can boost your SEO and it takes an extra 5 seconds of your time. Make sure your photos are named something that is searchable like “Denver Wedding Hair Inspiration.” So when someone searches “Denver Wedding Hair” and they search the photos on Google, guess who is going to come up.
